The Mission
To empower women, inspire the younger generation, and give them something I spent much of my life wishing for: one true friend. I never had a sister and longed for someone I could trust, confide in, and be fully myself with. That longing was especially strong while trying to leave a thirty-seven-year marriage, when I wished I had one safe person beside me. Kara Cuz She Cares was created from that experience to help women feel seen, supported, encouraged, and reminded that their voice, gifts, and story matter. My story may be where this mission begins, but its purpose is much bigger than me.

Legacy Leader Pilot Program
If I had known then that I was a visual learner and that dyslexia did not make me less intelligent, school would have looked very different for me. I loved learning. I was afraid of not fitting in because I learned differently.
That is why Legacy Leaders is so personal to me. I want to help young people discover how they learn best, use tools like mind mapping, and understand that dyslexia or ADHD can come with powerful strengths like creativity, innovation, and new ways of thinking. We also support teachers with tools that help students build focus, confidence, and well-being.

I have never truly known what it feels like to have a home, which is why I feel deeply blessed when my clients, who become like family, invite me to walk alongside them as they search for their dream home. It means more to me than I can put into words because I am not simply helping someone buy a house. I am helping them discover the right community, the right neighborhood, the schools, and the surroundings. I want them to find a place where their children can grow, make friends, feel safe, create lasting memories, and truly thrive, and where neighbors can become extended family. I want my clients to love the experience, not just the house. I want them to find a home, a community, and a life that feels right for them. Because real estate, to me, has never been about square footage or a set of keys.
